April 17: Forest (Sci Fi & Fantasy Week)

From @PravNJ:
Master Gormo trudged through the foliage of the forest and turned to the alien creature who was walking beside him. Gormo was a Hysalrian and probably the last of his kind. His snakelike body stood in contrast to that of his pupil, who was a short green creature.

“Let’s build your saber, youngling” Gormo said.

From @Mari_desilva & @Gajenmahen:
No matter how many times as a child I was told the story, I never imagined it to look this way.

The lights. They are not a dream. Why didn't anyone tell me about the lights?

The stumps, in their thousands.

Blinding.

From @huz152:
The trees were short and dense. A six foot guy would think he can look above it. When I neared the forest the trees grew taller. Now they were hovering over me, sounds echoed which I have never heard before, it gave me goosebumps. Suddenly I turned and Boom I fell of my bed.

From @Revoulter:
“Dark, nothing else. It’s been a week, maybe more. Why am I laying in this dark forest? How did I come here, or do I belong here? Without sun how can I fill my hunger? Misty mountains, giants trees and these trees! They’re human!”

The dark woods, contains beasts of other world and Entized men.

From @BatmanEarth12:

As I exited the wormhole it took me several seconds to gather my senses.

I stood in a forest densely populated with trees from the Mesozoic era. A blissful cold breeze descended upon me and swept away all traces of discomfort from my journey across time. I was indulged in a state of ecstasy.

From Priyanthie de Silva:
I looked up startled. What on earth was this, which had emerged from nowhere? "Tyger, tyger burning bright, In the forest of the night" the lines raced through my mind. This was no tiger, this fantastic creature. It was magical, for lack of a better word. Such vivid detail & colour, I had never seen!

From @shamsmakkiya:
Neliriana finisium, a rare herb, was discovered by Dr. Adrastus, prevented human mortality.

The riches ran after it. The rest died every single day in desire of eternal soul. Forest percentage fell rapidly.

A magnificent statue of Dr. Adrastus was erected. The immaculate bliss of death is known only to him.

From @Shi_dreams:
The sun was out, but as soon as Joe and the Keeper entered the forest, darkness engulfed them. The forest was alive; reverberating with an aura Joe had never felt before. The Keeper muttered and the tip of his staff glowed, lighting their path, casting shadows as they pushed forward. “Steady,” Joe whispered to himself.

From @wikifreakz:
It was really a tiresome session.

We had been ordered to collect specimens of each and every plant..

The Government's plan was to promote eco-tourism.

In a way, we were very proud of preserving our forest despite the massive nuke attacks of WW-III.

The only oddness I found was: maintaining the forest in bonsai format!

From @PennyKinned:
Once upon a time, apparently, fruit-poles and oxygenators grew freely on the island. Arundhi found that hard to believe. Such rare resources growing naturally? So bounteous that people could simply pick jackfruits and coconuts if they felt like it? “Forests”, they used to call them. Mysterious green places to walk free and dream. Yeah, right.

From @bhagsy:
They had been going out for several months, that's what the parents knew. The last time she was seen, she was on her boyfriend's bike, heading somewhere. There was no clue where she was or why she never returned that day. It was only months later the police found her body, decaying in the dense forest miles away from home. She had been raped by her love.

From @AntonyCF_:
“you have to go beyond the forest” said the munivar, “that’s where you will find answers to your questions, purpose, the meaning to all your suffering” with those parting words he let a sigh and closed his eyes and look completely at peace, he had waiting years to deliver the message to the “ONE”
